TurboLink Instructions For Multiple Product - Multiple Quantity

This method of using the TurboLink feature allows you to setup your product links so that the initial Add to Cart page is bypassed, and all selected items are added to the cart from your web page with a single Add to Cart button.

How it works:
To use this feature you will need to manually edit the product links on your web pages. For this reason we do not recommend you attempt this unless you have some knowledge of editing HTML code. No adjustments will need to be made in your eManager.

Please note that TurboLink will work only for Toolkit (full cart) accounts. Attributes will NOT work with this feature.

Setup for Multiple Product - Multiple Quantity
To setup a page of products that can be selected from and added to the cart with a single button, you need to create a form. This is done by placing an HTML FORM tag above where you will place your products on the page. This tag must contain a link that includes your account code. The HTML code for this tag is as follows:

After you place the above opening FORM tag, you will place your product links in the body of your page, below the FORM tag. You may customize the link for your own preferencesŠadd a Quantity label to the quantity field, a graphic and/or description for the product, etc. The following code is the base code needed for each product.

<INPUT TYPE="text" NAME="quantity1" SIZE="4"> Product Name
<INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="prod_code1" VALUE="ProductCode" >

Let's break this down a bit so you can understand what this code does. The first portion of the code creates the quantity entry box for your first product.

<INPUT TYPE="text" NAME="quantity1" SIZE="4"> Product Name

Note that the portion that says "quantity1" will need to be changed for each product. The first product on your page will be "quantity1", the second product must be "quantity2", the third product must be "quantity3" and so on. There is no limit to the number of products you place on your page. Replace the words Product Name with the name of your product as you wish it to be seen on the web page.

The second portion of the code determines what is done when an entry is made in the quantity entry field.

<INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="prod_code1" VALUE="ProductCode" >

Like the "quantity1" field in the first portion of the code, the "prod_code1" will need to be changed with each product. The number in the "prod_code" should be the same as that of the "quantity". For example, if you use "quantity1" for a product, then you must use "prod_code1" for it as well. If you use "quantity2" then you must use "prod_code2". Be sure to replace the words "ProductCode" with the exact product code for the product as you have entered it into your eManager database. (do not remove the quote marks).

A page with three products on it would contain code like this:

<INPUT TYPE="text" NAME="quantity1" SIZE="4"> FirstProductName
<INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="prod_code1" VALUE="FirstProductCode" >

<INPUT TYPE="text" NAME="quantity2" SIZE="4"> SecondProduct Name
<INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="prod_code2" VALUE="SecondProductCode" >

<INPUT TYPE="text" NAME="quantity3" SIZE="4"> ThirdProduct Name
<INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="prod_code3" VALUE="ThirdProductCode" >

When viewed from a browser on a web page, the above code will create three separate entry boxes which your customers will use to enter the quantity of the item they wish to purchase. The corresponding ProductName will be listed next to each quantity entry box.

When you have finished adding the code for all of the products you wish to display on the page, you will then place the Add All Selections To Cart button at the bottom and close the FORM. The code for this is:

<P><INPUT TYPE="submit" VALUE="Add All Selections To Cart">

No changes need to be made to the above code, though you may edit the text for the button label to read whatever you like.

You will also want to include a View Cart and Checkout link at the bottom of your page after the form is closed. You may use the same code for your existing View Cart and Checkout links, or modify the following with your account code.

<A HREF="">View Cart</A>

<A HREF="">Checkout</A>
