Cart Confirmation Display

You can now insert a simple line of code into your web pages that will let your customers see the items currently in their shopping cart at the same time they are browsing your web site. You decide which pages the cart will be displayed on, and the exact location for the display on your web page. The display even contains a View Cart and Checkout link, reducing the need for your customers to go hunting those links down when they are ready to check out.

This feature is for Toolkit (full shopping cart) accounts only. and will not work if you are set to use the eOrder form.


How To Setup Cart Confirmation
From the Setup and Configuration section of eManager, (top menu) select Cart Confirmation Configuration from the menu and click the Go button.
You will see a graphic of the Cart Confirmation form as it will appear on your web page. Use this to view your changes/settings as you make them.
  • Code Insert
    This field contains the necessary code specific to your cart/account. Copy the code exactly as it appears in the field, and paste it into your web page(s). The same code will work for every page. 

  • Confirmation Display
    Be sure to set this to ON if you want to use the Confirmation feature. If set to OFF, the display will not work even if you have the needed code in your web pages.

  • Display Appearance Controls
    The remaining configuration settings allow you to control the way your cart display will look on your web page. Adjust the settings to your preferences so that the display fits in with your web site scheme. Use the graphic on the eManager configuration screen to view the display as it will appear on your web pages.

  • Cart Heading
    This is not a required field. If you prefer not to have a heading you may leave this field blank.

  • Table Border
    This determines the width of the outside border of the table.

  • Table Background Color
    This determines the background color of the table. You may select a color from the Color Chooser, or enter a hexadecimal color code.

  • Table Font Size
    Select the size of the font used on your table.

  • Table Font Color
    Select the color of the font for your table. You may select a color from the Color Chooser, or enter a hexadecimal color code.

  • Quantity Label
    This sets the label for the Quantity column.

  • Description Label
    This sets the label for the Description column.

  • Price Label
    This sets the label for the Price column.

  • Extended Price Label
    This sets the label for the Extended Price column.

  • Display Empty Cart
    This determines if the cart confirmation table will be displayed if it is empty. If set to On, the table will be displayed at all times. If set to Off, the table will be displayed only when it contains one or more items.

  • Empty Cart Heading
    This is not a required field. If you prefer not to have a heading here leave this field blank.
